grab the hot water bottle by the inlet neck
hold the hot water bottle vertically
slowly fill the hot water bottle with water to about 2/3 of its capacity, do not use boiling water (max. temp. 60°C)
slowly squeeze the air out until you see water through the inlet
screw the cap on as far as it will go (do not overtighten)

after using the hot water bottle, pour the water out of it, hang the open hot water bottle with the inlet facing down and leave to dry
store the opened hot water bottle in a cool, dark and dry place
avoid contact with fire, heat, acid and fats
protect from the sun
do not place any objects on the hot water bottle, especially heavy ones
regularly check the hot water bottle and cap for wear and possible damage
hot water bottles can cause burns, avoid direct contact with skin for long periods of time
do not use on children under 7 years of age or people who are sensitive to temperature.
